Information on Continuing Education Credit

for Health Professionals

for courses offered by Solution Mindfulness

Many programs offered through Solution Mindfulness are co-sponsored by The Spiritual Competency Academy (SCA) to provide Continuing Education (CE hours) to Psychologists, Counselors, Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Substance Abuse Counselors.

American Psychological Association:

CE credits for psychologists are provided by the Spiritual Competency Academy (SCA) which is co-sponsoring this program. The Spiritual Competency Academy is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Spiritual Competency Academy maintains responsibility for this programs and its content.

The California Board of Behavioral Health Sciences accepts CE credits for LCSW, LPCC, LEP, and LMFT license renewal for programs offered by approved sponsors of CE by the American Psychological Association.

LCSW, LPCC, LEP, and LMFTs, and other mental health professionals from states other than California need to check with their state licensing board as to whether or not they accept programs offered by approved sponsors of CE by the American Psychological Association:

Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners:

The Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners does not pre-approve programs or providers, but historically accepts CE credits for license renewal by Social Workers, Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists and Substance Abuse Counselors for programs offered by sponsors approved by the American Psychological Association and the California Board of Behavioral Health. Please check with your professional board for any other professional license requirements.

Arizona does not require general CE hours for license renewal for Nurses, however SCA is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN Provider CEP16887) for licensed Nurses in California. RNs must retain their certificates of attendance for 4 years after the course concludes. Nurses outside of California must confirm acceptance with their licensing boards.
